Mason Remey was an Aghsan

due to being legally adopted by 'Abdu'l-Baha.

[Mason Remey is the legally adopted son of 'Abdu'l-Baha]

In the Star of the West it is recorded that 'Abdu'l-Baha publicly addressed Mason Remey as "O my dear son," (vol 10, #8 page 144) and "O thou enlightened beloved son," (vol 11, #13, page 229) plus it is recorded in a book written by one of the early believers that 'Abdu'l-Baha sent a message to Mason Remey saying, "You are very dear to me. You are so dear to me I think of you day and night. You are my real son. Therefore I have an idea for you. I hope it may come to pass. 'Abdu'l-Baha." (Diary of Juliet Thompson, page 71).

Dr. Leland Jensen further explains that in Reality 'Abdu'l-Baha did not speak English: "I have already stated that 'Abdu'l-Baha never called Mason his son, but his Aghsan"(Dr. Leland Jensen, Book of the Opening of the Seventh Seal, Part III, Dec 7, 1989, p. 7); thus qualifying Mason Remey as 'Abdu'l-Baha's only living Aghsan-Son to legally inherit the throne of King David (as the "other branch" stated on page 12 of the sacred Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Baha) immedaitely upon The Master's passing 28th November 1921. 'Abdu'l-Baha further stated to Mason:

“I have adopted you as my son [Persian Literally: Aghsan]. You have to appreciate this favor very much indeed. One should see that you are living according to the requirements of this sonship. You should be aware of your responsibilities. My prayers will help you. I always pray for you.” (‘Abdu'l-Baha to Mason Remey, cf. “The Diaries of Mason Remey,” Folio 2, "A Pilgrimage to the Holy Land: Reminisces of the Master, 1921," pp. 127-129. New York Public Library Collection)

The legal adoption of Mason Remey as the Aghsan-Son of 'Abdu'l-Baha was upheld by the legally appointed Executor of 'Abdu'l-Baha's Estate, Shoghi Effendi, named by 'Abdu'l-Baha Himself in His sacred Will and Testament (a legal document) as the first infallible Guardian of the Baha'i Faith ("to go against him [Shoghi Effendi] is to go against God": W&T, p. 11). In March of 1922, as the sole appointed Legal Executor of 'Abdu'l-Baha, dispensing his fiduciary responsibility to the Covenant of Baha'u'llah, Shoghi Effendi oversaw the proper transfer of the throne of King David from the Master, 'Abdu'l-Baha to his only surving Aghsan-Son and sole Heir, Charles Mason Remey-Aghsan. Shoghi Effendi meeting with Mason in person in the Holy Land--writing to Mason explicitly (in recognition of Mason's ascension to the throne of the Kingdom of God on Earth) during the cerimonial transfer of the throne of King David and official coronation of 'Abdu'l-Baha's Aghsan-Son fully-executed and authenticatedly dispensed: "To ‘Abdu'l-Baha's ‘DEAR SON' Mr. Charles Mason Remey" (signed) Shoghi, March 1922.” As Dr. Leland Jensen explains "DEAR SON" appears in quotations by Shoghi Effendi in English becuase in reality it is tranlsted from the Persian/Arabic term Aghsan--that literally means BRANCH (see Zechariah 3: 8 KJV for more)--meaning the Branch of King David (of the throne-line of King David) that springs forth from the Ancient Root of Baha'u'llah. This is also further explained by Baha'u'llah in the Kitab-i-'Ahd (the Book of His Covenant) as well as by 'Abdu'l-Baha in Some Answered Questions in The Master's Explanation of The prophecies in the Eleventh Chapter of the Book of Isaiah, the Hebrew Prophet.

The evidence listed above is enough to prove the fact that Mason was 'Abdu'l-Baha's son as an uncontested point of material fact. In order to make the adoption legal and binding, in accordance with Ottoman & Israeli law of the East (upheld by the British Mandate of the West), 'Abdu'l-Baha gave Mason Remey a token of inheritance via Shoghi Effendi. He enclosed it inside an envelope within which was another envelope containing the token. On the outside of the envelope in Shoghi Effendi's handwriting was this note:

"Of all the remnants of Baha'u'llah's all-sacred Person, the most hallowed, the most precious, confidently delivered into the hands of my brother and co-worker in the Cause of God, Mr. Remey. [Signed] Shoghi. March 1922."

On the inside envelope, which was sealed with a blob of wax was handwritten:

"Coagulated drops of Baha'u'llah's all-Sacred Blood and Ringlets of His Most Blessed Locks presented as my most precious possession to 'Abdu'l-Baha's 'DEAR SON' Mr. Charles Mason Remey as a token of my Baha'i affection and brotherly love. [signed] Shoghi." [Click here to view the envelope of this token authenticated by the Guardian, Shoghi Effendi, in his own handwriting and signed by him]

It is clear and evident that Shoghi Effendi knew that Mason was 'Abdu'l-Baha's adopted son. This token seals the adoption agreement making it legal and binding! This token of the hair and the blood has important symbolism. The blood represents Baha'u'llah's bloodline which is "all-Sacred" and "Hallowed." The bloodline is that of the royal line of Kings descended from David. The hair represents the head, or guardianship of the Baha'i Faith.

Mason Remey Aghsan then adopted and appointed his son, Joseph Pepe Remey Aghsan who then adopted and appointed his son, Neal Chase ben Joseph Aghsan, to succeed him as the current Guardian of the Baha'i Faith. The appointment of the successors to the guardianship of the Baha’i faith always comes as a TEST UNTO THE PEOPLE. 'Abdu'l-Baha used the token of the hair and the blood; Mason used a token of a medallion in the shape of a nine pointed Baha’i star; and Pepe used a token in the form of a lapis lazuli Baha'i ring. When asked about these tokens, Mason Remey explained that they were a way to give away the test--but that they were not the manner in which the next guardian was to be appointed or to be an Aghsan-Son; becuase if they were then anyone could STEAL THE TOKEN for themselves (or for someone else) and "claim" the guardianship falsely to mislead the people--that is, the unsuspecting and the unawares. The guardianship therefore can never be tied to any material object becuase anything material can always be stolen by others. To this explicit point, the first Guardian after Shoghi Effendi, Charles Mason Remey-Aghsan (the first President/ Executive Branch of the authentic IBC/UHJ of Baha'u'llah (seated upon the throne of King David that is to last for ever)--being the only living son of 'Abdu'l-Baha--and, therefore, an Aghsan--a branch (see W&T, p. 12) explained the TEST of the TOKENS:

"The medallions were originally mentioned by the Guardian [Mason Remey-Aghsan] in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, at Birchhaven, 1962. The Guardian mentioned that a medallion with a large diamond and two smaller ones of the same design would be given to the next Guardian. This prompted the question from Dian Frain, daughter of Dr. Frain, as to whether or not this would be the sole means of identifying the next Guardian."

"In a letter written to Dr. Marie Frain, National Spiritual Assembly member, the Guardian [Mason Remey-Aghsan] writes concerning three medallions and their significance. "The nine-sided or pointed decoration that I have, that your daughter inquired about is something which has nothing to do with the Faith nor with the continuation of the Guardianship. For me to make any statement on that would create a future problem, for, if such a decoration [e.g. any of the THREE TOKENS such as (a) the Hair and the Blood; or (b) the Medallions or (c) the Lapis Lazuli Ringstone] were reproduced or stolen, then he who presents it [any of the THREE TOKENS: (a) the Hair and the Blood; or (b) the Medallions or (c) the Lapis Lzuli Ringstone] would be in a position to [falsely] claim the hereditary rights to the Guardianship. When that particular medallion was designed by me, I carried it to all the conclaves with the "Custodian Hands," so that I might have some symbol to show that I was prepared for the recognition which I had hoped would be eventually demonstrated. I personally like insignia and symbols. A future Guardian may not feel as I do about such things."--Charles Mason Remey-Aghsan. (1962). Tablet to Dr. Marie Frain. (Published and reproduced in: NSA of the Baha'is of the US Under the Hereditary Guardianship. (1965, November--Quddrat, 122 BE). Guardian Clarifies Troublesome Questions. Glad-Tidings, 4(3), p. 2, column 1.)

The criteria for the guardianship is to be a son (of the Aghsan lineage of King David through Baha'u'llah and 'Abdu'l-Baha) and to be appointed by the previous guardian in the guardian's life-time (see W&T, p. 11). When Neal inherited the throne of King David from his father Pepe he also inherited all these material possessions and things and then donated them including the three tokens (a. the hair and blood; b. the medallion; and c. the ringstone seal) and other personal artifacts in his possession (that he had inherited from Mason and Pepe--faithfully transferred to him via the spiritual & legal executor of Pepe's estate named in Pepe's Will and authenticated in a written and signed document of statutory declaration by Pepe himself) to the public trust of all the Baha'i peoples Under the Provisions of the Covenant into the personal care and trust of Dr. Leland Jensen ALONE in 1994 A.D. The guardian (Neal) said he did this because first, no one would ever believe or be fooled into thinking that Dr. Jensen was of the blood-line of King David--as Dr. Jensen is clearly of the TRIBE OF DAN! Secondly, Neal was obviously NOT adopting or appointing Dr. Jensen who was 52 years older than himself to be his son and sucessor--and that FACT nullified any further use of the three tokens given by Neal to Doc. Next--as Dr. Jensen was NEVER seated upon the throne of King David--Doc could never appoint anyone to that postion or role, as he would himself have to violate the sacred Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Baha, which is an impossibility. Thus by Doc recieving these tokens & things from Neal (for the purpose of archival storage in the vault) it is clearly established that these tokens & things could never be used by anyone ever again in the future to claim the guardianship of the Baha'i Faith as they had already served their purpose during the tests of Mason (hair and blood), Pepe (medallion) and Neal (lapis lazuli ring stone seal ring): and thus have been once and for all rendered inert after their original and primal application of the shaktipat to give away THE TEST--as Dr. Jensen has explained in His Epsitles to this point. It is possible these relics and artifacts (lifeless vessels and husks now emptied of their intrinsic purpose) will survive the catastrophe and be placed in a “Baha’i Smithsonian,” so to speak; and it is possible that they won't survive the fires of war. Those who are obsessed with relics and material possesions will be burned alive in the on-coming thermonuclear war that is prophesied to kill one-third of mankind in ONE HOUR (Rev. 18:10, 16, 17, 19) as every American City population 100,000 of more is currently targeted by Russian missiles. Or they will be struck by actual fragments of the meteor that is prophesied to strike the earth no matter where they happen to live. For God sees all; knows all; loves all; and from Him there is no escape!

An adopted son has all the rigths and prerogatives as a natural son, inlcuding the Kingship.
